Harcourts Marketing

Updated: Jan 17, 2019

I thought this is a good chance to talk about the marketing we do for vendors once we list your home in an exclusive arrangement.

Harcourts offer a FREE $800 marketing package to each vendor currently which gets things rolling (conditions do apply).

This is generally used for photos, adds in the Property Guide, signboard and the multiple number of websites it will be listed on. Upgrades are absolutely possible and encouraged.

Upgrades that work for added exposure:

According to realestate.co.nz a quality package costing $250 will bring 8 times more views.

A Premium Feature on Trademe costing $102.35 will bring 1.6 times more views and 2 times more buyer enquiries.

A drone of your property will add fantastic photos and video potential for great use in advertising including Facebook posts and adds. They range in price from $200 and up.

Facebook adds work well and are great bang for buck and for around $100 you will get great value.

(These figures are as of 17th January 2019 and may change over time)

Other than these important aspects its important to understand our roles and what we will do for you.

Open Homes: We run these once a week on Sundays or any days that suit the type of house we are selling. We prepare all flyers for the property and outline all features and acknowledgements any buyer needs to know.

Open Home Feedback: We call back each Open Home attendiee to get feedback for the vendor and ask if they want to go any further. We are able to get very good information from these calls. On Tuesdays we then email and/or ring you the vendor to report any activity. The market will give us some great knowledge and information.

Team Viewing: Once a house is listed the whole Harcourts team will view the property. This usually occurs on Wednesdays following a meeting about the days properties.

Monday Meetings: Every Monday meetings had on all homes.

Private viewings: Of course private viewings start from the day it goes live and can mount up depending on vendors or tennants.

So a lot goes into the marketing of a property helping get the best price possible for the vendor.

Stats are a get way to help with marketing
